Fight Ermac, Kano, and Mileena
To fight Ermac, you need the Fist of Ruin and Swing Ability. Go to Wu Shi Academy and go to the 1st area of it. Once you're there, look for the big red bridge. Before this, there is a split path. Take the one going over a chasm of spikes. On the other side is an evil Priest statue. Break it and head into the new area. Once you're there, jump onto the area to the left. Use swing to get to higher ground, then interact with the statue. The doors on the other side of the bridge in this area will open, and you will see the Warrior Shrine.Go to the Warrior Shrine, and examine the statue on the left 3 times to fight...Ermac!Near the end of the game, right before you fight the final 3 bosses, chat to Kitana 3 or 4 times. Destroy the guards that come into the room, then go through the new door to find...Kano!In the 1st area of the Living Forest, use the swing ability on the 2 big branches that can be found above you as you head for the save structure. Swing over to higher ground, then climb up the ladder. You will be in a new area. Head to the other end of this treetop area to fight...Mileena

In the wu-shi academy where everything is burning. Go to the very right of the gate and jump onto the roof of the house. Run to the right and jump. If you did it correctly, you will be on a new platform with a boulder blocking your way.
Unlockable Reptile
Living Forest. Go to the section after the Brotherhood Of Shadow. Long Jump across the gap with the tiny waterfall. Go through the door. Now, get the Clay Statues to come to life. Destroy their shield. You only need 1 of them. Now, get one of them over near the Giant Stone Cloumn on the other side of the stream. It's the stone column right near where you entered. Throw the Clay Statue into it! It should come crashing down. Now, return to where the little waterfall was. There is no longer a waterfall. Just a Koin that contains Reptile.

Easy 1000 Exp Points!
First obtain the combo ranking of "Toasty". Then immediately press the start button. The words "Toasty 1000" should appear in the middle of the screen and you will be awarded 1000 exp points. The best thing about this trick is, it works every time.

In foundry follow the pathway downstairs to the left of the save station. Two archers will bust through the wall. Throw one at the wall to the left of the door way and it will bust open revealing a secret room full of lava and a ying yang on a ledge. Grab one of the archers and throw them in the lava. Then double jump off the guards back to claim the Scorpion ying yang for VS.
Unlock Johnny Cage

Unlock Mortal Kombat II
Locate and clear all mini-missions issued by Smoke.
#1. Break Walls in the Soul Tombs to reveal a secret fatality. This is is an area with spikes on the ceiling and about 6 Tarkata in the room. You can see out on the far side of the room and you need to break the 4 center sections of the wall.
#2. Destroy a statue in Wu'Shui academy and enter the Warrior Shrine. The Warrior Shrine is at the VERY start of the Wu'Shui area.
#3. Offer 3 Sacrifices in the Sacrifice Room in Soul Tombs. You need to go through the room that doesn't have a green or red symbol above it and then do air throws to get the Tarkatas into the spiked areas.
#4. To unlock the Portal, find all Purple Portals and throw an enemy into each one. There are only 2 portals to throw mobs into. One is near the Evil Monastery and one is at the lower level near the climbing spot.
#5. To unlock the Pit II, enter the Portal and survive in the frozen peaks.
After you enter the portal you just need to keep killing the guys that show up until it says you've won. We found that tossing them off the side seemed to prove quite useful and then just killing one when you need to recharge your life a bit.

After you get the fist of ruin and the swing ability go back to the whi su academy and go to the water fall ingnore all the enemys and when you get there go left and jump and break that staute then keep going the jump to your left and the swing your way to the other side and interact with the statue and it will open the door to the shirine go to the last staute to the left and it will say to what a mistirous staute keep interact then it will come alive and you will fight Ermac beat him and you will get another red orb

Before you fight shao kahn save and the go over to kintana and talk to her about 3 timesand then gaurds will come threw a locked door kill them and go down it you will end up in a fight againts kano first jax came to the hell foundry to find sonya and free her but kano says all this stuff so you will have to fight him don't worry jax helps you also kano is hard to beat the most move that he will do is his cannonball so try to hit him with long range moves if you can se him do it at the right time when you do beat kano finish him off there will be a code to finish him off so punch that in and you see this really cool way off how he dies well not really you will just hear him and so jax send sonya to earthrelm for treatment but jax gives you a health upgrade for help him get sonya out off there alive hopes this helps with your futher fights

Survival Mode
To access Survival Mode, you must be at the Foundry Stage. While holding the forged axe, walk back to the main chamber where you first found the save point. Walk down the corridor to the back and break away the wall on the left-hand side. Jump into the pool of lava in this room, then go back to the main chamber. From here, walk up the stairs to your left and move towards the barrels you see in the area. Be careful to only break the one on the right-hand side. Go back, but instead of going down the stairs again, keep hard to the right. There's a niche with two more barrels. Break the one on the right. Go back to the left and down the hall with the spike crushers falling overhead. When you past them, break the barrel closest to the right-hand wall. Return to the niche to break its last barrel, then back to break the remaining barrel just over the stairs. Survival Mode is the Boss Rush Mode of Shaolin Monks.

Hints, Tips & Tricks
Health Upgrades
Wu Shi Acadamy: when you meet up with Jonny Cage go around there will be an ambush beat the takatan warriors then help Jonny Cage. he will close the front gate then the secod time he will open the armoury there you will find a Health Upgrade and take it.
Living Forest: in the area where a big snakes head is found(entrance to reptiles lair) you will see a tree and two zombiesto your right you will see thorny vines to get this Health Upgrade you will need either double jump or climb get to the top and its yours.
Wasteland: in the first area of the level you will need to cut your way through some red dragon mercenaries and some black dragon mercenaries go to the climbing point the head right, jump over the gap, cross the bridge then head left it is there that you will find the
Health Upgrade.
Foundry: the area just before Shao Kahn's arena go to the right talk to Kitana 4 times demon handlers will apear kill them then enter the oversize doorway there you will find Jax. You and Jax will fight Kano, after you beat Kano Jax and Sonya will go through a portal. Before Jax enters the portal he will throw a Health Upgrade to Liu Kang.
When you go to Shao Kahn's arena there is health there instead of Sonya Blade. Got to it and press R2 then it will be in the bottom-left corner.
Easy health
If you use a save point, regardless if you save your health will be fully restored.
Easy experience
Get a "Toasty" combo rating by the announcer, then quickly press [Down] + [Star. The phrase "Toasty 1000" will appear, giving your 1,000 experience points.
The Pit: Developers (Demo version)
In the spike pit, the heads that are stuck on the spikes are those of the game's developers.
Rescue Kabal and get his Hookswords
In the Wastelands, there are two doors that are covered with human bodies. One leads to the Elemental Warriors, the other is an area where Shokan warriors are throwing boulders at you. Go though the second door. Simply avoid the boulders and climb the ladders until you reach the top. There you will find Kabal inside a cage. After taking the boat ride across blood lake, his VS. icon is in back of the lion looking statue to your left (facing the big door), just run along the wall and when you get to the end double jump and its yours.
Scorpion
In foundry follow the pathway downstairs to the left of the save station. Two archers will bust through the wall. Throw one at the wall to the left of the door way and it will bust open revealing a secret room full of lava and a ying yang on a ledge. Grab one of the archers and throw them in the lava. Then double jump off the guards back to claim the Scorpion ying yang for VS.
Easy 1000 Exp Points!
First obtain the combo ranking of "Toasty". Then immediately press the start button. The words "Toasty 1000" should appear in the middle of the screen and you will be awarded 1000 exp points. The best thing about this trick is, it works every time.

2. go up the ramp in the lobby and turn left on the landing
3. go to the end and smash the barrel closest to you with O button(smashall the barrel using the O button for this)
4. go back and into the small room with the weapon on the floor ans smash the barrel at the back of the room
5. go into the rock-crusher-corridor and smash the barrel at the end
6. return to the weapon room and smash the other barrel in there.
7. go to the landing and smash the last barrel.
8. if the entrance hasn't appeared yet do anotherr smash on the spot
9. push R2 to go in

How to: In the lower level of the Bell Tower arena, when "Finish Him" appears do an uppercut. Don't be next to the bell. He will fall through the floor into a spike and slide down. Next 4 sharp blades on the bottom of the spike will cut off his arms and legs. Then a rat will come along and take a leg.

Smoke: Defeat Smoke.
Sonya: Open the chest to the left of the gate in the area after defeating Sonya.
Stryker: Break the wall on the right of the hallway after the Shadow Stalkers and go to the end and look in the left aclove.
Sub-Zero: Open the chest to the right of the statue of your mother after fighting with Sub-Zero.
Tanya: Reach the cell area in Shao Khan's Dungeon, then hit the Ground Pound icon. Go back to the third cell on the right to find the chest.
Taven: Defeat the Giant Skulls in Edenia, then go up the path until all of the chests appear. Open the third chest on the left.

# Easy Koins
Start a two player Versus mode match. Defeat player two with a Savage fatality. Repeat this process until you have the desired amount of Koins. Note: This only works only for regular characters and not Bosses.
Start single player game in Arcade mode. Defeat your CPU opponent with a Savage fatality. Repeat this until you reach the Boss, then just defeat him and repeat until you have the desired amount of Koins. Note: This only works with regular characters and not Bosses.
Start a two player Versus mode match with your profile loaded. Have the second player as any character, and choose Reiko for yourself. Use his Assassin Stars move (Away, Forward, X) to damage player two. You will deal him little damage, but with a high combo. Repeat this as many times as possible. Unless you use a fatality, you will get at least 1,300 Koins per match.

In the lower level of the Bell Tower arena, wait until "Finish Him" appears, then perform an uppercut. Make sure you are not near the bell. Your opponent will fall through the floor into a spike, slide down, then have his arms and legs get cut off by four sharp blades on the bottom of the spike. Then a rat will appear and steal a leg.

Double death
Start versus mode with a friend. Select Falling Cliffs as your area of Kombat. Now, choose any 2 characters. Let the match begin. You will soon see that it is a circular platform, and that layers around the edges will begin to fall off every twenty to thirty seconds.
Make sure that you and your friend are on a layer of an edge that will break off the platform. Once it breaks off, both characters will fall off the platform (just like when your punch or kick
sum1 off). You will see both of the characters land on stone spikes. The one with the least health will lose the match, but both of your health bars will go down to 0. Also, If your both fall off
the same time and have full health, player one will always be the winner of that match.

Defeating Onaga
One way to defeat Onaga is to get far away from him. He will either do a stomp attack or a fireball. Jump when he does the stomp and just evade the fireball. After a short time he will come after you.
If you have any strong attacks, get ready. When he comes after you, you can usually get in a good shot or two. After hitting him, jump back quickly to avoid the punches or being grabbed. Try to stay
close to the statues, but be careful. Shujinko's (Liu Kang's) Bicycle Kick works very well when he comes after you, and use sword attacks when he gets close. After awhile of playing, you can learn
his patterns and better prepare yourself.
The Dragon King's arena is bordered evenly by all 6 pieces of the Kamidougu. The most effective way above all to defeat Onaga with any character is to back away from him, leaping over any ground attacks or projectiles he uses, then lure him towards the edge. Collecting a Kamidougu piece will stun Onaga for 2 seconds and even subtract from his health. Take advantage of this opportunity by unleashing your character's longest and most damaging combo, then back away when finished. Repeat this process using another Kamidougu icon. The most strategic way to do this is to aim for a back-to-back win, preserving 3 Kamidougu pieces for round one and the other 3 for round two.

Press L1 at the start menu to reset your profile. Note the 3 rows of scrolling words. Press X to change the word that appears in the top row. A different word will appear each time X is pressed.
The word in the middle row seems to be random each time the menu is entered. The word in the bottom row is always "Deception". At this time, no known effect has been noticed by doing this, but it may be
related to the rumored "Super Unlockables" in the game.
Getting Koins
In Konquest mode, many characters will ask you to do missions for them, usually fetch-type tasks. Completing these missions usually will result in a good sum of Koins.
In Konquest mode, use Punching as a tool to get different responses from characters. For example, Mocap in Chaosrealm will say "Ow my balls". Also, punching certain characters will make them drop Koins.
In Konquest mode, characters that appear with a puff of smoke will hand over a very large sum of Koins. For example, Motaro will give you 1200 Gold Koins.

In Konquest mode, in Edenia, find Rain. He will give you a mission to find a cave. Do as he says and find the cave at G-8. Once you are there, you will see a tent with Jade and 2 bodyguards on each side
of her. She will reward you if you tell Rain about the cave so that she can ambush him. Go back to the place where you found Rain. Tell him about the cave and he will pay you about 300 to 600 Koins.
Before he runs off to the cave, quickly punch him. This will make him stay in the same place instead of running to the cave. Now, go back to the cave where Jade is located. You will see Jade outside of
the cave, with Rain on the ground by her side. Chat to her, and she will reward you. Now, go back to the tent inside of the cave, and she will be inside. Then go, to where you found Rain. He will not be there. *** Once you finish the cave mission try to get a good angle so you can see the Jade next to Rain and the Jade at the tent at the same time.

After you finished Konquest mode, go back to the Netherrealm. Before you move, press R1, which brings up a map of the realm. Go to the center of the realm to where you did the mission for Scorpion with catching Quan Chi. From there, go right until you see another platform smaller then the one in the center. You will see 3 people: Kabal, Kobra, and Kira. If you defeat them all, you will get
a reward. When you fight Kabal, you will fight him in Dark Kombat.
Make sure you get Kenshi as a good selection. Use his weapon and keep using his 4 hit combo (X, X, Triangle, Triangle). Now, fight Kobra. He is difficult to defeat. Each time he hits, you will
lose one 3rd or one half of your health. Try to use a long combo and dodge as much as you can. Try using Shujinko. When the match starts, let him attack you first, but make sure to dodge him and
kick him in the air twice (Up, Circle) before he falls to the ground. Do his Hardcore combo listed under the Mantis style of fighting. After you have finished the combo, you should have gotten
at least 9 or 10 hits in on him. Once you have killed him, go on to Kira. She is the most difficult of all of them. When you fight her, you are bleeding to death and she likes to block frequently. Make sure you get Baraka, Darrius, or Ashrah as a selection. If you are Darrius and the match starts, do your Tricky Kick. When you hit her, press L1(2) during the move so that you will have your
Gauntlets on. If she blocks one of them, press Square, Triangle, Circle(3). This should stun her for awhile and allow you to get in another Tricky Kick. Do this until you kill her. If you are Baraka,
hit her as soon as the match starts with Toward(2), X, which is 1 of Baraka's special moves. Now, quickly get close to her and press Away, X(2), which should pop her up into the air. While she is in
the air, press X(2), Triangle, Square(2). This should hit her about 6 or 7 times. Repeat this to defeat her. If you are Ashrah, quickly dodge one of her attacks then press, Up, Circle, to pop her
up into the air. While she is in the air, press Triangle(2), Square, R1, X, Away, X. You will hit her about 7 or 8 times. Keep doing this until you defeat her. Once you have defeated Kabal,
Kobra, and Kira, a portal will open, similar to the portal when you open it with a Kamidogu. Go through the portal and you should be back at the beginning of the realm. You should also see a chest with gold trim. Open it to get your reward. *** All chests with gold trim have something to do with the characters. However, this chest is different from all the others. All your hard work has paid off
with 1,000 Onyx Koins.
Defeating Scorpion
When fighting Scorpion at the end of the game, continually strafe around him to dodge his specials, then attack when he has finished an attack of his own and is vulnerable. Also, try to save your Breakers, but use them when necessary.
The following trick is a very easy way to defeat the CPU, especially Scorpion for Shujinko's Spear move. Confront Scorpion and exit until you can fight him as Baraka. Do the "Mutant Blades" move and the
"Chop Chop Blades" move every time he gets back up. You may need to switch up the rotation of the 2 specials, but the "Mutant Blades" move (Forward, Forward, X) works most of the time when he is just
getting back up. When you think he is going to attack at close range, then use the "Chop Chop Blades" move (Down, Up, X). Save the game, go to the difficulty option, and set it on the easiest. This
works because he is constantly healingm and if he hits you, he takes 300% damage.
Easy fatalities
Go to a chess match. Once there and fighting, kill the opponent's leader with whoever you want to do the fatality with. If you defeat him pr her, a fatality will automatically happen.
Go to practice or Arcade Mode and pick Shujinko. Now, go to the Slaughter House level. When the match starts, knock your opponent down into the basement of the Slaughter House. Next, get on your
opponent's side so that you are moving them back toward the death trap. Make sure not to push them all the way back. Next, pop them up into the air with Back, Triangle(2). Now, while in the air, do Liu
Kang's Bicycle Kick. The last kick should send your opponent flying through the air and into the death trap. Once your opponent has been diced up into little pieces of flesh, it should say under your name.
13 Hits, 127% damage. You should have 2 hits from the pop-ups and 10 from the bicycle kick making that 27% damage, and one from the death trap, which automatically kills your opponent and gives you
100% damage. *** You must have Liu Kang's Bicycle Kick from Konquest mode.
Raiden
After you finish Konquest mode, go to the Orderrealm, and go to E-3.
Face Raiden to earn the key. You must have already finished Konquest mode or he will give you nothing but money.
Hotaru puzzle fighter
Begin a puzzle match with any character. During the loading screen, you should see Scorpion fighting Hotaru in a puzzle match. Notice that Hotaru is not a selectable character for puzzle mode.

Complete Konquest mode. After the credits, go back into
Konquest mode and go to Edenia. One you have reached Edenia, go towards G-8. It is a small mountain path that leads to a tent.
Meditate behind the tent until it is Thursday night at 11 p.m. and wait until 12 midnight. A chest should appear, now that it is 12 a.m. Friday morning. Open it, and the key to Tomb OT will be yours, which unlocks Liu Kang.

Raiden easier
Open the FN Krypt 1st to get 1800 of the 3300 that is needed, before opening the XG Krypt to unlock Raiden.
Play As Blaze Or Mokap
Open coffins PN and YP in the Krypt. Clear quest mode with all the regular and hidden characters. Once that's done, hold DOWN while selecting Raiden to access Blaze. Hold DOWN while selecting Cyrax to select Mokap.
The Real Way to Unlock Mokap and Blaze
If you want to unlock "Blaze" you have to unlock Raiden. ( You also need to unlock Blazes Bio). Then after you have done that you highlight Raiden and hold down and start, but make sure you hold down in first or else you will just choose Raiden. Now if you want unlock Mokap you have to do the same thing except you have to do that with "Cyrax".
